The New American Welcome Center has kicked off their annual “Welcoming Week.”
Two new programs launch to aid Champaign small businesses
A total of 30 activities and learning sessions celebrate immigrants and their contributions to our culture, while also teaching them about aspects of American culture.
The Champaign-Urbana Public Health District hosted one of the most recent events: a seminar on entrepreneurship. Attendees learned about their rights as employees along with how to bring their own business ideas to life.
The University YMCA is working alongside the New American Welcome Center to coordinate this week’s events.
