Students competed in a variety of events from Marketing Management Team Decision-Making to Professional Selling and Consulting, the district said.
KILLEEN, Texas — Thirteen students from the Killeen ISD Career Center‘s DECA program have earned a spot in the Texas DECA State Competition, the district has announced.
The students earned the spots at the District V contest in Round Rock on Saturday, Jan. 11, according to the district. The students reportedly competed against around 3,200 other students from 36 high schools.
DECA is an organization that works with students, educators, school administrators and business professionals to “prepare emerging leaders and entrepreneurs for college and careers,”, according to their website.
