KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – Inside Marcom-Harvey Funeral Care, a community celebration of life viewing was held for Dyamund Shields Jr., a well-known Kansas City food truck owner. He was killed in a mass shooting earlier this month. Outside, food trucks set up to honor him and feed those coming to pay their respects.
“Dyamund was a great pillar in the entrepreneur community,” Thomas Clark, owner of TC’s Fully Loaded Food Truck, said. “Always wanted to give back and gave me words of encouragements, advice, and we did some events together. Definitely wanted to give back in any way I could.”
Clark hopes to put an item on her menu inspired by Shields Jr, who was better known as DJ.
