Simon Duarte left his secure job in finance journalism to pursue his passion in art. A career that is often difficult for people to make a living in, Duarte understood that passion should supersede security. His art collective Intrinsic Studio was formed to connect like-minded buyers, artists and communities in Madrid. With a natural hustle mentality, Duarte recognized a new venture with an existing Intrinsic Studio gallery space. Combining his connection for his Colombian roots and his fondness for coffee, Duarte created Dopa Cafe; and created a new space that combines both ventures into a cohesive narrative.
