Ian Somerhalder and his wife Nikki Reed have ditched fame in favour of becoming full-time business owners.

Actor Ian, 45, shot to fame for starring as Damon Salvatore in The Vampire Diaries while Nikki, 36, became known for her role as Rosalie Hale in the Twilight franchise.

But Ian told how the couple have both put acting on the back burner in favour of becoming entrepreneurs and raising their children.

The pair got married in 2015 and are parents to Bodhi Soleil, seven, and Eagle, two.

Speaking to People magazine about his acting career, Ian said: ‘I think it’s in the rear-view mirror. I do.
