A keen interest in business and sport combined with a master’s in digital marketing set Niamh Tallon on track to launch Her Sport, a platform dedicated to fostering an interest in sport among women and girls. She talks to Arlene Harris about how the idea came about and her plans for growing the business
She has always been an active person and grew up in an energetic home, but it never crossed Niamh Tallon’s mind that she would end up establishing a successful company dedicated to sports.
The entrepreneur developed an interest in business while still at school, influenced by her father who ran his own company.
She went on to study commerce at UCD and gained a master’s in digital marketing with Smurfit.
And in 2018, at just 24 years of age, the Dublin woman established Her Sport, a platform dedicated to promoting and fostering an interest in sport among women and girls.
